Our Mission A

APTA is a volunteer, nonprofit organization of Travel Professionals.

It is the goal and purpose of APTA to promote tourism to the continent of Africa and its Islands. APTA will seek to improve tourism to Africa through the education of its members.

Dear APTA Members:

A new year can be like an awakening. Time to start fresh, get organized, set new goals and begin working to achieve new and better things, both in our personal and professional lives. Happy New Year everyone and may we all achieve everything we hope for in 2012!

Chapters have gone from holiday functions right into new programs and schedules for the year and am very impressed with the meeting schedules. Some excellent educational opportunities have been organized for our agent member's and I encourage our Corporate Members to contact local chapters if they are planning to visit their region to try and work together in developing educational meetings. Advance notice is necessary in order to be able to put together a successful meeting and please keep this in mind.
