APPETIZERS:
Greek Salad - tomatoes, cucumber, peppers, onions, kalamata olives, feta cheese, olive oil and balsamic vinegar
Bread & Homous - creamy chick pea and garlic spread
ENTREES:
Lemonokota - roasted chicken marinated in lemon and oregano served with roasted potatoes and vegetables
Solomos - grilled Atlantic salmon served with rice pilaf and vegetables
Mousaka - classic greek casserole of eggplant, potatoes, seasoned ground beef, topped with bechamel sauce
Gyro - Seasoned strips of lamb and beef broiled to perfection served with pita bread, tzatziki sauce, tomatoes and onions
DESSERTS:
Platters of Margarita's Ekmek- syrup soaked wafers, layered with custard and almonds topped with whipped cream and sprinkled with cinnamon
Our program will include an exciting presentation given by Jane Behrend of Volcanoes Safaris. Volcanoes Safaris is a unique great ape ecotourism business specializing in mountain gorilla safaris to Uganda and Rwanda, and was founded in 1997.
